Roles and Permissions
Every collection has its own team. A member's role defines how far they can work in the collection. In the profile, the role is shown with a neutral team icon. The code does not assign separate role icons; coloured chips are only used for individual permissions in the collection view.
The four roles
Owner has full control over the collection. This role can manage settings, templates, labels, and the team, and it is the only role that can delete the collection.
Manager works almost as freely as the owner, but without deletion rights. Managers can edit content and manage the team so day-to-day work does not depend on a single person.
Editor is meant for content work. This role can create and edit items and upload media, but has no access to collection settings or team management.
Visitor is the read-only role. Visitors can view the content but cannot change anything.
Changing a role
Click on a user in team management, choose Edit Role, select a new role, and save. An owner cannot change their own role.
Removing a user
Every team member except the owner has a Remove option. The user immediately loses access.
Account-tier restrictions
Customising templates and editing selection lists is only available to owners and managers AND requires the owner's account tier to include the Custom Templates feature.
